Florida Democratic Party Celebrates Juneteenth

In celebration of the 156th Juneteenth, and the first as a national holiday, Florida Democratic Party Chair Manny Diaz released the following statement.
“This Juneteenth is a historic one, as it is the first time we are celebrating it as a national holiday. As we take this day to acknowledge the delayed freedom of slaves, we must continue to fight against the delay of true freedom for all through denial of racial justice, attacks on voting rights, ignoring the root causes and solutions to achieve economic justice and more.”
