Ahead of Pence visit to Clearwater and Tampa, Faith Leaders to Call Out Trump’s Broken Promises, Cruel Policies 

FLORIDA - On Wednesday, August 5th at 11:30 AM, ahead of Mike Pence's visit to Clearwater and Tampa, the Florida Democratic Party will hold a virtual press conference with faith leaders to call out Donald Trump and Mike Pence for breaking their promises on issues critical to Floridians, including their attacks on the Affordable Care Act in the midst of this pandemic, their cruel, inhumane immigration agenda, and their failure to lead our country out of this crisis, which has disproportionately hurt Black and Brown communities in Florida and across the country. 


The call will be led by Rev. Gina Durbin, King of Peace MCC, Rev. Dr. James Golden, Mt. Zion AME Church, Nanci Palacios, Deputy Director of Faith in Florida, Rev. Dr. Russell Meyer, Executive Director of Florida Council of Churches, and Rev. Dr. Joe Parramore, President and Founding Pastor of New Journey Ministries.
