About the event
Rep. Webb, in her freshman year in the Legislature, earned a Legislative Appreciation Awards. The awards, two of 20 given out across the state by the Florida League of cities, was for their work during the 2019 legislative session to protect the home rule authority of Florida’s municipalities. Home Rule is important to our cities. Jennifer is in Tallahassee fighting for us so come to the meeting and show your appreciation. We have asked her to give us an idea of what life is like in the Legislature for a freshman, who is not already familiar with the inside workings of our state government.
